UPDATE: Multiple Quality of Life changes to Starworld

Hey all!

First of all: With these changes, we want you all to look out for any bugs these changes could have caused. We have done a lot of bug testing and haven't found anything so far, but it is always good to pay extra attention to it when changes are made.

We have made many QoL (Quality of Life) changes to the chat and will present each new change individually below. Some changes were made a while ago, but are still worth mentioning.

• - Color formatting in the chat history has been changed. User role now correctly shows as white, while other roles have had a change in the visualization of the colors.

• - When you go to Floor 2 (F2) in your home room (if bought), the “Go back”-feature will no longer forget where you were. You will now - correctly - be able to head back to the room you were in before you clicked on your Home Room-icon.

• - It is now possible to toggle the Drag & Drop feature while in your Home Room and Clan Room. This is to minimize the accidental moving of items while navigating in your own room. NOTE: This change only applies to YOU. You find this in the Starworld Settings.

• - It is now possible to toggle a Click Lock, so that when you click on items in the world - not just Home Rooms or Clan Rooms - you will NOT trigger a drop down menu. This feature was brought to life to make it easier to navigate in room with alot of items in a very tight space, giving people the ability to move around more freely. If you were in a room with alot of items before, that removed alot of clicking space in which you could place your character. With this new feature this is no more. NOTE: This ONLY applies to you. Enabling the Click Lock as the owner of the Home Room does NOT apply the lock to other users. They still have to enable it themselves. This is also found in the Starworld Settings.

• - Global Messages now correctly show up as STARWORLD and are being saved in the Chat History. Please not that only those manually sent out are currently saved, but we will fix so that all Global Messages (item prompts, event messages) will be saved there aswell.

• - Notifications, PM's, Friend Reqeusts, and other features in the Starparty Menu now correctly refreshes dynamically, so you no longer have to refresh the site to see new notifcations etc.

• - It is now possible to Show/Hide items in jail. You are now able to release yourself from prison, even if your Orion's Handcuffs were not shown at the time you were sent there.

NEXT UP:

We will make it possible to drop items that are normally undroppable, when you are in your Home Room. This will NOT be applied to the Clan Room. This is 80% fixed, and you will see the Drop Item-option when in your Home Room, but you cannot drop items as of right now. The reason we haven't fully enabled this, is because some early items have weird formatting while dropped, which impacts the User Experience. Once this is fixed, it will be fully enabled.
