UPDATE: Database Migration, Performance Boosts, and Starworld News

Late last night and early this morning, we rolled out several major updates to the platform. Here’s a breakdown of what’s been changed and what you need to know about the upcoming events.

Technical Improvements & Performance

We’ve successfully completed a major database migration. The main goal was to streamline how the site handles data, and it should feel much smoother now.

• API Optimization: We’ve reduced the amount of API fetches and cleared out "Seaweeds," which significantly improves back-end efficiency. Keep in mind that the Seaweeds are not removed, they just stack more efficiently.
• Faster Loading: We’ve enhanced the caching for room backgrounds, avatars, and other images. You should notice that assets load much faster now.
• Smoother Transitions: When you change rooms, items from the previous room now disappear much quicker.
• Lag Checks: If the site still feels slow, please double-check your connection at Speedtest.net to make sure it’s not an issue on your end. If your internet is fine but the site is still lagging, let us know.

Starworld Updates

There are a few changes to the world map and features that are now live:

• Chaotic Generator: It’s back in Starworld with a fresh batch of new items. Just a heads-up: the drop rate for rare items is now much lower than it was previously.
• Scrap Station: This has been moved to a new location.
• Easterland Quest: The wait is almost over—the Easterland Quest will finally be released tonight, 11PM April 8th! To make up for the previous delays, the Easter Zone will remain open until April 14th.
