STARWORLD MERCHANT IS OUT!

Hey everyone!

We have some really cool news today. The Player Merchant System is finally here! This means you can now turn your avatar into a shop and sell your items directly to other players.

Do you have too much stuff in your bag? Or did you find a rare "Shiny" or "Corrupted" item that you want to sell for a high price? Now is your chance to make some serious StarCoins or StarPoints!

How to start your shop

It’s super easy. Open your menu and click "Open Shop."

1. Pick your items: Choose up to 12 items. You can sell normal stuff or things from your "Bag."
2. What’s blocked: You cannot sell items from your Keychain (keys) or items that are "locked" to you (undroppable). Those stay with you!
3. Set the price: You decide! Choose if you want StarCoins or StarPoints.
4. Write a note: Tell people why they should buy your cool items!

When you open your shop, a Merchant Table will appear in front of you so everyone knows you are open for business.

Being a Shop Owner

When you are selling, you have to stay at your table. You won't be able to walk around or use the chat bar until you close the shop.

Fair Play

To keep the Leaderboard fair for everyone, the time you spend as a shop does not count as "chat time." However, we have a big bonus for sellers: The 24-Hour Shift! Normal players get kicked if they are away for an hour, but as a shop owner, you can stay online for up to 24 hours. This is perfect if you want to leave your shop open while you sleep or go to school!

Easy Shopping

Looking for a deal? When you see a player with a shop table, you'll see a Mini-Preview above their head with 4 of their items. Just click on the player to see the full shop. Buying is instant – click, pay, and the item is yours!

Don't block the doors!

The "City Guard" has one rule: Do not block the paths! If you try to set up your shop on a door or a teleport spot, you will lose your shop permit for 60 seconds. Make sure you find a good, open spot to sell your wares!

Do Not Move!

While you have your merchant up, you are safe from all kinds of power items that would normally cause your character to move!
